So my homie Jalil just came from London and he went crazy obviously. From one shop to another and spend half a day Selfridges & Co he just spend his entire bonus on a whole new budget for when he’s out of the office.
Needless to say he sure did go out of his way, to get to the BAPE Store and then to Dover Street Market to get some CdG sneakers. Guess that’s just how he does.
So to make sense in his pile of niceness he called me over and made my little magic. Here’s one of the many options I gave him.

Couple of days ago I got a call from Isay. He called me for some help with renewing some essentials in his wardrobe.
We met downtown and while we were talking we came across some shops he immediately wanted to check out. So I just decided to just wing it right at the spot.
And at the end of the day we ended up with quite some new pieces to add that extra spice to the closet.
Another mission well accomplished!

Sunday stroll… 💃
Less can be quite a bit more. And that’s something my latest client Heny lives by. He’s heading to Cologne in Germany (about 4 to 5 hours) with his new car and his new girl. He told me his outfit needed to be all about comfort. And it had to come with a varsity jacket.
Sometimes I think these guys can’t even think for their self. But hey, I’m never too troubled to help them out. So I hooked Heny up with his first A Bathing Ape jacket.
When I sent him these items he had tears of joy he told me. Best reward so far.

Ah yes, Valentine’s day is approaching. My homie Gene has his agenda full of dates after he went to one of those singles parties he keeps talking about. And well, you guessed it, he has a serious clothing dilemma.
So he called me and he said: “I need some of your street savvy in my life.” I help my friends for free as long as they pay their outfit. And that’s went on the lookout for him. His normally heritage guy looks were screaming to be vamped by little old me.
I actually did want him to wear his favourite Barbour jacket though. He still needs to look calm, cool and collected when he gets to the girl. Other than that he whipped him up in this outfit.
Hope you like it.
Straight to the end zone, Gene! Go long!

The other day I got an e-mail from Francis who “discovered” a young brand called Aimé Leon Dore. He bought himself a couple of pieces including a very dope pair of joggers and a super awesome fitting flight jacket. Somehow it reminded me of the main character from M.A.S.K.
You know! The ’80s cartoon. Main character’s name is Matt Trakker and he used to have a grey and red suit with a very specific looking helmet. Ah well, maybe it’s my age and you Tumblr-kids have no idea what I am on about.
But it somehow just reminded me of that character. And I think I could make Francis look equally battle ready, but still in a very un-costume like way. After all, it’s not Halloween everyday!

Elmar e-mailed me the other day. He sent me a picture of Kanye West (this happens quite often I tell you) wearing a leather jacket and hoody. He wrote that he was looking for a decent and cheap alternative for the jacket, because he wasn’t willing to drop over a 1K for a jacket. Yet he was super happy with his latest purchase, A Bathing Ape shark hoody.
Oh well, me being the sensible guy I am didn’t mind hooking him up and I went out looking for this jacket. And while I found this awesome black biker jacket he sent me a text which said: “Please try and find me a jacket that isn’t black!”
The nerve of this guy… Still made it work though!

My Ghanaian homie Dada is going to his graduation soon. He’s finished his master’s in architecture and just for that occasion he wanted to go in all white to resemble his latest design. He designed a hotel to be built in his country which also got him into a job at a very prestigious firm.
I’m honored and very proud to serve him for his day. He didn’t want to see a suit & tie, like the rest of his class. But he knew he was probably the only one who wouldn’t wear a suit eventually. I told him he had to go in looking very bold if he wanted to make a lasting impression.
And luckily for me he fully agreed. This outfit is not even making him look bold, but it’s making him look ice cold.

I still find working for women pretty challenging. But that doesn’t mean I won’t do it. I wish I had more female clients, actually. The other day a friend and co-worker of my girlfriend asked to help her out. For no particular reason or occasion. She’s just curious how I’d hook her up.
So I thought about it quite hard. And than I just decided to just wing it. I can’t stand over thinking. I gave Chenoa a call and we met up and we discussed the outfit I’d give her. Eventually it ended up pretty decent even if I say so myself.
She’s just styling on a couple of you girls out there. Step up! Is all I can tell you.
